The Community FoodBank of New Jersey and Bruce Springsteen have been fighting hunger together for more than 30 years. The most recent effort took place at Springsteen’s three MetLife Stadium concerts on August 23, 25 and 30.

At Springsteen’s invitation, FoodBank staff and volunteers carried buckets at all entrances to collect donations from fans, and MetLife Foundation topped off their contributions. The FoodBank raised enough funds to provide 514,700 meals for food insecure people across New Jersey.

Springsteen’s three performances broke records in terms of length, and the FoodBank broke records in terms of funds raised. The Community FoodBank of New Jersey is proud of and deeply grateful for its longstanding partnership with Springsteen, as well as the support of his fans, MetLife Stadium and MetLife Foundation.
