Altice USA’s Optimum Community Sponsors the Newark Puerto Rican Day Parade
via Patch – Thousands of people lined the streets of Newark on September 18 to watch and participate in the 55th Annual Puerto Rican Day Parade. Altice USA’s Optimum Community was there as a sponsor and captured the festivities through its local programming division. The parade, which was covered in its entirely on Optimum TV channel 18 in the Newark area was attended by various dignitaries including U.S. Congressmen Luis Gutierrez (D-IL 4th District) and Albio Sires (D-NJ 8th District), U.S. Senator Robert Menendez (D-NJ) and New Jersey Senators Stephen Sweeney (D) and Teresa Ruiz (D).
