Communities In Cooperation is hosting the Women’s Career Fair Experience on Thursday, July 23, from 10am to 2pm at Newark Workforce Development. Attendees can meet face to face with employers who are hiring, including reentry friendly employers, and are encouraged to bring a resume and explore new opportunities.

The event brings together onsite resources from community organizations and service providers covering workforce development, education, housing, legal aid, and more, giving attendees a one stop shop for support. Newark Workforce will offer intermittent sessions on available training and services throughout the day, and Communities In Cooperation will host sessions on information companies typically do not share with applicants.
Organizers describe the fair as a statewide event designed to help attendees prepare, connect, and get hired.
