Amazon is expected to close a deal for office space in New Jersey.
Amazon, second-largest Fortune 500 company, is acquiring approximately 400,000 square feet of office space in Harborside on the Jersey City waterfront, Bloomberg reported on Tuesday.
According to nj.com, Harborside would be attractive to a company like Amazon in need of office space for a number of reasons. The building has recently finished going through a $100 million renovation. The building Amazon is said to be in talks for – Harborside 1 – received the most transformative renovation among buildings on the property, getting a new façade, terrace, and lobby, the New York Post reported in May.
