A Harrison community blood drive will be held Tuesday, Sept. 22 from 1:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Harrison Recreation and Community Center. The Harrison Recreation and Community Center is located at 401 Warren Street.
To remain in compliance with the federal guidelines for social distancing, appointments are preferred. Walk-ins are welcome is the blood drive capacity permits it. Donors must wear a mask or face covering, will have their temperature taken and must be 14 days symptom free if recovered from COVID-19. Donors may not donate if they have had a positive diagnostic test, if they are currently on self-quarantine restrictions or experienced symptoms within the last 14 days.
Donors can make an appointment at http://www.nybc.org using the group code: 70864. For additional information or to make an appointment, text Rosana at (917) 669-9073.
Remember to eat and drink before donating and to bring your Donor ID if you have one.
