Montclair Hospitality Group to Open New Ani Ramen Concept at Harrison Urby

Harrison Urby

Harrison, NJ is about to get a new culinary destination.

Harrison Urby, the mixed-use residential community in Harrison, NJ, today announced that Montclair Hospitality Group will open a new Ani Ramen restaurant concept in the space currently occupied by Charley, the property’s ground-floor neighborhood bar and restaurant. Charley closes its doors this week on August 24th, with the new Ani Ramen concept expected to open in early 2027.

Ani Ramen is known throughout the New York metro area for its Tokyo-style craft ramen and lively, casual dining, with existing locations in Montclair, Jersey City, Cranford, Maplewood, Summit, and Larchmont. The Harrison Urby location will mark the brand’s continued expansion into the region and its first location in Harrison, NJ. The new restaurant will feature a concept developed specifically for Harrison Urby, built around Ani Ramen’s signature ramen program alongside new Japanese-inspired dishes created for the space.

Seamlessly integrated adjacent to Harrison Urby’s lobby, Ani Ramen reflects Urby’s ongoing commitment to designing spaces that bring people together and connect residents with the surrounding community through food and culture.

“Charley became a true neighborhood destination, and we’re thrilled to welcome Ani Ramen to carry that forward for our residents and neighbors,” said David Barry, Founder and CEO of Urby.

“We want to express how excited we are to finally team up with Urby! As long-time fans, we can’t wait to introduce our new Ani Ramen concept to this neighborhood,” said Luck Sarabhayavanija, Founder of Montclair Hospitality Group.

The restaurant will be located at 202 Angelo Cifelli Dr, Harrison, New Jersey 07029, within Harrison Urby. More details surrounding the menu and timeline will be shared closer to opening.
