If you or someone you know is caring for a loved one, NJPAC has a meaningful event coming up that you won’t want to miss. As part of its Standing in Solidarity series, NJPAC is hosting Caring for the Caregiver, a free virtual conversation taking place on Monday, April 20, 2026 at 7:00 PM via Zoom.
This event aims to bring caregivers together, build community, and connect attendees with resources to help ease that burden.
The evening will open with poetry from Alexis Green, a spoken word artist, digital marketer, and former caregiver, presented in partnership with Dodge Poetry. The panel will be moderated by Keith Da Costa, Executive Director of Caresparc Community Connections, Inc., and will feature an impressive lineup of experts, including Gina Kornfeind of Good Grief, Mary-Catherine Lundquist from Care2Caregivers at Rutgers University Behavioral Health Care, Kira Ruth of NJPAC’s own Caregiver Employee Resource Group, and Lindsay Schambach, Executive Director of Imagine, A Center for Coping with Loss.
Before the event, participants are encouraged to watch Caregiving, a PBS documentary executive produced by Bradley Cooper, at home in advance.
