Allison Miller has held down the pulse for respected artists across multiple genres, including the indie-folk dynamo Ani DiFranco and the soul-jazz legend Dr. Lonnie Smith.
Recently, she has been on tour with Artemis, who were featured on Jazz Night in America.
The drummer, composer and band leader will bring her quartet to WBGO’s monthly free concert series in March. Her group Boom Tic Boom, which recently released their album Glitter Wolf, was featured on The Checkout in 2016 and earlier this year on Jazz Night in America.
