Trio of Summer Exhibitions at Aljira Center Begins this Week!

One of the many works of art that will be displayed in the summer exhibitions.

Three new exhibitions will open at the Aljira, a Center for Contemporary Art, in Newark, NJ on Thursday, July 18.  Jazz Stripe Series: Paintings by Erica Barton Haba, “Exuberance is Beauty,” William Blake Paintings by Jim Haba, and Schools for the Colored: A Portfolio of Photographs by Wendel A. White, will be displayed through September 7 at the center; open Wednesday through Saturday . All three artists are from New Jersey.  An opening will take place at Aljira from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on July 18, the first day of this summer’s exhibitions, join us and see these works of art firsthand!
