For nearly 25 years, the Newark Arts Festival has been a centerpiece of New Jersey’s creative community. Organized by Newark Arts, the festival draws artists from across the country while showcasing the work of Newark’s own vibrant arts scene. With more than two dozen events spread over five days, attendees can explore visual art, live music, open studios, panel discussions, and community gatherings.

This year’s guiding theme, JOY, runs through every event whether it’s joy in movement, joy in music, or joy in simply gathering together.
