‘Integrity Day’ Celebration Will Return To Newark: Games, Food, Health Screenings

As posted by patch.com, Integrity House, one of New Jersey’s largest licensed not-for-profit providers of comprehensive substance use disorder and mental health services, will hold its second annual “Integrity Day” celebration on August 21, 2025. This free, public event will celebrate the 57th anniversary of Integrity House’s incorporation in Newark. It will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Lincoln Park in Newark, NJ. Newark Mayor Ras Baraka is scheduled to attend and will provide remarks.

Integrity Day is both a celebration and affirmation of Integrity House’s commitment to Newark. The free outdoor event will feature a range of wellness activities and services, including:

  • Screenings for substance use disorders, mental health and infectious diseases
  • Vital sign checks
  • Harm reduction supplies, including Narcan
  • Meditation, yoga and tai chi
  • Family-friendly games
  • An ice cream truck, giveaways, food and drinks

Individuals and organizations can register for the event and learn about sponsorship opportunities here. Funds raised through sponsorships and donations will go towards the Creative Arts initiative, which leverages the power of the arts to support individuals in recovery.
