According to an article posted by yourharrison.com, in a vital effort to improve community health, University Hospital, partnering with Rutgers New Jersey Medical School, will bring its Mammography in Motion mobile screening unit to Harrison, NJ, on Thursday, June 19, 2025.  You may recall that the Mammography in Motion came to Harrison in April of this year.

The state-of-the-art vehicle will be stationed outside the Harrison Senior Citizen Center at 221 Harrison Avenue, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The program offers private, advanced 3D digital mammograms. Appointments are required and can be scheduled through this link.

The mobile unit serves both insured and uninsured women. Through the S.A.V.E. program, support is available for individuals who are underinsured or uninsured. No prescription is necessary to receive a mammogram.
