PATERSON, NJ – At this week’s Board of Education meeting, two student representatives were introduced, each eager to bring the voice of Paterson’s high school students to the board for the 2024-2025 school year. Representing International High School and STEAM High School, these students will help foster communication between the student body and district leadership.

As reported by http://tapinto.net Sahmique Peart, a senior at International High School, was introduced first. “Good evening, everyone,” she began, expressing her gratitude for the opportunity. “I look forward to being in the medical field because I am passionate about helping others,” she shared. Known for her compassionate spirit, Peart hopes to make a positive impact on those around her and expressed heartfelt thanks to the board members for her new role.
