According to http://tapinto.net A nationally known “off-price retailer” will make its debut in downtown Newark next week in a development the special improvement district has warmed up to.

Burlington is slated to open at 729 Broad St. on Friday, May 10, the company has announced. It follows the opening of a Burlington Store in Clifton last week.

“We’re continuing to expand our footprint across the country and are excited to be opening new stores in New Jersey,” Michael O’Sullivan, CEO of Burlington Stores, said in the announcement. “We look forward to giving local customers the chance to discover big savings on a wide range of products.”
