NEWARK – According to http://www.tapinto.net Newark School board candidates squared off last week in a forum that at times got testy, with challengers calling for the “removal of politics from the education of our children,” and incumbents defending their records in response.

Hosted by Newark’s chapter of the NAACP, the forum took place at the Clubhouse Community Center on Thursday, March 14. The election will be held on Tuesday, April 16.
